I’m going to share my favourite foundation with you. I’ve used it for the past four years, and it remains my favourite.
It’s the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. It has a pretty light texture, it’s moisturizing, blends in easily and has a medium, buildable coverage. It hides redness and dark spots quite well, but if you have problem areas, you might need to use a concealer over those. I apply it over my Bioderma Hydrabio Light Cream moisturizer, or over sunscreen. It does not clog pores, otherwise I would dump it in a hot second.
If that isn’t enough, this foundation has great ratings and reviews everywhere, and the makeup gurus Sam and Nic of pixiwoo even compare it to Chanel’s Pro Lumiere foundation!

I have very pale skin, so I use the lightest color (51) in the winter, and (52) in the summer. My face is still pale in the summer because I never let it tan, but in order for it not to look ghostly pale in comparison to my body, and to give it a little life I do use the darker shade. Why don’t I tan my face? There’s just an equation that I don’t like: face + sun = wrinkles. I prefer the face + sunscreen = smooth face forever equation..
